	Long Road Out of Eden by Eagles I'm a big Eagles fan and marvel at their longevity. This album has some strong cuts, and the best is "Somebody."
	The Complete Sherlock Holmes Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce were the best Holmes and Watson ever. These films are crisp and provide a great history lesson since some of them were made during World War II.
	Swan Peak by James Lee Burke Burke is my favorite detective writer. His Dave Robicheaux character is one for the ages. This book is good but not as smart as Tin Roof Blowdown, which is now in paperback.
	Appaloosa by Robert B. Parker Parker is another entertaining guy. His Spencer novels are usually amusing except when he overdoes the smaltz. This is a western novel, and it moves swiftly.
	Fleeced by Dick Morris Well researched and right to the point. I work with Morris and sometimes he gets carried away, but his wife co-writes his books and brings a nice discipline to the page. We are getting fleeced in the country and Morris proves it.
